Olden, in the province of Sogn og Fjordane, is a village often forgotten by tourists visiting Norway, but it is most definitely a place one should experience! Located at the end of the Nordfjord and not far from the largest glacier on Europe’s mainland Jostedal you will find this picturesque village with its friendly inhabitants.
Nearby Olden you can find Jostedalsbreen National Park Centre. It is worth a visit and the friendly staff will take you back in time to the ice age. Everything you always wanted to know about glaciers, you will find it here without a doubt.
An interesting hike in Olden is the one up to Huaren. Hike up to approximately 400 meters above sea level and enjoy the stunning view over Olden and the Nordfjord.
We also offer tours to UNESCO’s Geirangerfjord and to the Briksdal glacier, a branch of the Jostedal glacier. Enjoy this wonder while you still can as bit by bit this spectacular gift from Mother Nature melts away!
